John Malkovich coming to Jerusalem

When you decided to make Aliyah to Israel, many people think that they are going to have to give up culture.  Coming from Philadelphia, I got a cultural upgrade.  Nobody voluntarily came to Philadelphia while everyone wants to come to Israel.

Next month,  John Malkovich and the director of “Being John Malkovich” are going to appear at the Jerusalem Film Festival.

Carla Bruni has stolen the show

To papaphrasae John Kennedy, French President Nicholas Sarkozy accompanied Carla to Jerusalem. Let’s hope she writes a song about her visit.

By the way, Sarko said, “France will block anyone seeking to destroy Israel.”

Make Play, Not War

A young American girl, Katy Mayerson designed T shirts with the Make Play, Not War logo. The proceeds are going to build a playground in the northern city of Kiryat Shmona in memory of her cousin that died in the Second Lebanaon War. She wanted to honor her cousin’s life not his memory.

Go Katy.

Swooshing down the slopes in Israel

Ynet reports that all year round indoor ski resort will open on Mt. Gilboa next year. There will be 1050 ft of trail complete with fake snow and a ski lift one hour and half from Tel Aviv.
